Meeting some Elephant Seals at Año Nuevo State Park

Over my winter break, I joined my family on a trip to the breeding grounds for elephant seals at Año Nuevo State Park in California.  It wasn’t the greatest day but it was an amazing experience.  I had never seen an elephant seal up close and personal, but I can now cross that off my list.  We went at a time when there were only a couple hundred elephant seals there, but I can’t even imagine what it would be like when there are a few thousand!  Here are a few pictures from the trip.  I hope you enjoy and as always happy adventuring!
